Planning Your Photo Shoot - Everybody!

Planning Your Photo Shoot
Everybody!

One of my favorite photographs to set up at a wedding is the "everybody" photograph! It can be of both families including the bridal party or for a smaller wedding, it can be everyone at the wedding. Here are some awesome examples. They're classic and timeless. I think it might be one of the most important photographs of the day. Something to think about while planning your day.

Enjoy the photos!

    1. Hi Kate,

Thanks for your question. If there's room to back up, I use the Contax 645 with an 80mm lens. If the space is limited, I use a Canon 24mm lens on the Mark ll D5. For the panoramics, which I personally love, I use a film camera called a Widelux which has a revolving barrel 180 degree, fixed focus lens. My approach is to keep things simple, plan in advance and work fast. Hope that's helpful!

  2. I agree! There was an 'everyone' shot from my aunt and uncle's wedding. I was 4 at the time and always loved to look back at that photo. It was very important for me to take one with each of our extended families. It is hard to gather everyone and they may grumble (they want those cocktails and apps!) but I felt that it was way worth it.
