Kristen and Geoff's Wedding
The Roger Hotel and
Midtown Loft and Terrace
New York, New York
Wedding days are magical, a wedding day on the island of Manhattan is extraordinarily magical. Kristen and Geoff's wedding was no exception. Last fall they were married at the Midtown Loft and Terrace, which has a birds eye view of the Empire State building from the terrace where the ceremony took place. After the ceremony, we took a walk down the street to the Flat Iron Building and then to Madison Square Park. It isn't every couple that wants to share their day with the city by taking a walk but for Kristen and Geoff it was a chance to share their day with the city they love. I love it! I also love the stationary that Geoff designed, and the unusual Corpse Bride cake! Pure magic!
I shot this wedding with a combination of film and digital cameras. The film cameras I used are the Contax 645, the Hasselblad and Widelux. For the digital, I used a Canon 5D. Some of the digital is shot with a Holga lens.
Thank you Kristen and Geoff for sharing your wedding!
