A well planned day, a gorgeous dress and a massive love is all you need to have a perfect wedding day. So let it rain, it won't dampen your spirits or steal your joy, it will just rain. On Laura and Sam's wedding day on New York's North Fork of Long Island, the outdoor ceremony was tented and evening dancing on the Bedell Cellars terrace under the stars was moved in doors but the love that brought everyone to this place at this time for this joyous occasion was real and it was perfect. For a few moments the clouds parted and we were able to run out into the fields of vines and get some great photos.
Sam is a photographer so when they asked me to be their photographer, I was truly flattered. I shot their wedding with a combination of film and digital cameras. The film cameras I used were the Contax 645, the Hasselblad and the Widelux.
