Courtney and Bronson's Wedding
The Greenwich Hotel,
Duane Park and
New York, New York
I'm excited to start posting the 2011 weddings and am particularly excited to post Courtney and Bronson's unusual downtown Manhattan wedding as the first in the 2011 series of wedding posts!
The day started at the Greenwich Hotel, followed by photos of the couple in the Hotel lobby and on and around the streets of Tribeca - near where the couple live. We walked over to the ceremony in historical Duane Park, which was attended by 50 guests and their pet Bulldogs. After the ceremony and a few more photos in the park, we all promenaded back to the Hotel to a private dining room at Locanda Verde.
The wedding invitation was a concert poster, (imagine the excitement of getting that in the mail), which included a 45, but it was the bride's Christian Louboutin shoes in turquoise that stole the show! After dinner, the bride changed into more appropriate concert attire. Guests attended a private concert at the Rockwood Music Hall with singer songwriter, David Ford.
Planning a wedding can be such a daunting task. What I loved about this wedding was how much it reflected the couples personalities and taste. The day was personable, warm and the concert was an incredible end to a perfect downtown Manhattan wedding.
Thank you to Lauren of Loli Events and Megan of Hello Super 8, who are both amazing to work with, and of course thank you to Courtney and Bronson for making their day such a memorable one!
These images were all shot with a combination of film and digital. The film cameras I used are the Contax 645 and the Widelux, two of my favorites.
