Lindsay and David's Wedding in NYC
March 28, 2009

I love Manhattan weddings. They always hold for me a tremendous mystic that fuels the day with it's enigmatic energy. Lindsay and David were married on March 28, 2009 on a warm, early spring day. Their wedding was a mix of all these things plus the love they share for each other, all of which made for a perfect day. I love the mix of white, red, green and burnt orange flowers that set the stage at Angel Orensanz, a dramatic former Synagogue, with color and style.

The bride's gorgeous dress is by Vera Wang. Her golden shoes are Minolo Blahnik

The flowers and event decor are by Magnolia Flowers and Events

Manhattan is the best background for photographs. It has it all. This is one of my favorite things to do, get in a car and go to a location for couple portraits. It adds to the day in a way that makes the day feel more complete. It also gives the bride and groom some time to be alone. This location is in Tribeca, which is lower Manhattan, complete with a cobblestone street and arched overpass to frame the photos.

Walking from the hotel Thompson to Angel Orensanz, passing by the famous Katz's deli

The recessional following the ceremony, another of my favorite moments to photograph!

The room decor was a dreamy landscape of fresh white Tulips and Cherry Blossoms against a vibrant, dramatic background, stunning.

Beautiful photos!! Can you tell me the street name where you took the cobblestone photos? I'm looking for a great location for our wedding photos but not familiar with NYC. Any help would be so appreciated.
